The Recital Hall is a spacious hall available for hire, which was previously part of Watford School of Music.

The hall is in a self-contained building on the grounds of Nascot Wood Junior School, and has toilets and a kitchen with an access hatch that is included in the price.

There is capacity for up to 80 people, and tables and chairs to seat this number are available. There is also ample parking on site (32 spaces plus 2 disabled spaces), and there is a large field that can be hired in conjunction with the hall, if outside space is required, for an additional fee.

Wi-fi is available, and there is a music system that can be used. 

The hall has a number of regular hirers, including music and dance groups, as well as one-off hires for parties and other events. From September 2025, there will be availability for regular hirings on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

 

Availability and Hire Costs

Availability: At present the hall is available for hire at the following times: - Friday evenings after 5pm - Saturday afternoons after 1pm

Hire Costs: The hourly rate is currently £35 per hour for one-off hires and £20 per hour for regular bookings. To hire the field is an additional £8 per hour or the field can be hired on its own for £18 per hour.
